3 – Reward for Memorizing Surah Kahf

The Prophet (peace be upon him) warned his Ummah about the trial of the Dajjal. This Surah is also a protective shield for when the Dajjal arrives, the greatest trial yet to come. A Surah with 110 verses cannot be easily be memorized, just so that we can reap the benefits, Allah SWT made it easier for us.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also said:

One who memorized the first ten verses of Surah Kahf will be secure against the Dajjal .”

Scholars differ on this: many say the time runs from sunset on Thursday until sunset on Friday, while others say from dawn (Fajr) on Friday until sunset. Either way, there are ample hours to spare some time to read Surah Kahf.
