Ramadan Duas Complete Collection & 30 Daily Duas For Ramadan

Special Duas For Ramadas: With the sight of the crescent moon, the Holy lunar year enters the seventh month. Muslims all around in the world begin fasting with high spirits, praying more than the usual, helping the poor in their surrounding and showing unity among themselves.

Ramadan is the month obligated for fasting and contains magnanimous importance for a Muslim as an individual and for the Muslims Ummah as a whole. Ramadan is valued because the Holy Quran was revealed in this Holy month. More importantly, the first revelation that came to Prophet (SAWW) also enlightened the Arabs with the power of knowledge.

What Duas To Pray In Ramadan 2021?

It was the first revelation that emphasized reading and getting knowledge. These ayats were the first five verses of the 96th chapter of the Holy Quran. It states:

Recite, in the name of your Lord Who created, created man from a clot of congealed blood. Recite: And your Lord is Most Generous, Who taught by the pen, taught man what he did not know.

Hence, beginning with the focus on reading, the revelation of the Quran got initiated.

With this we reach the second significance of Ramadan, that is in the recitation of the Holy Quran. Learning and understanding Quran will get a believer rewards in the form of guidance. As Allah states in the Holy Quran:

“The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [th`e new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you, and perhaps you will be grateful.” (Quran: 21:85)

When it is about guidance Taqwa is an imperative pre-requisite to attain guidance. The month of Ramadan, through fasting and reading of Quran strengthens piety in a Muslim. Fasting holds up a believer from the wrongdoings, sins and escorts him towards the good things. The Quran speaks of Taqwa in the following words:

“Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may attain taqwaa.” (Quran, 2:183)

It abstains a believer from eating voraciously and in doing that the person empathizes the destitute and the poverty-ridden people of his society.

Thus, this leads us to another significance of Ramadan, and that is, to give Zakat, and help the poor financially. Allah puts the onus of helping those in poverty to the whole Muslim community. Thus, everyone has to work to get the unfortunate out of his harsh economic situation. For this, Muslims should give charity to the destitute. The has been narrated that Holy Prophet (SAWW) said:

“The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: He who gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will receive the same reward as him, except that nothing will be reduced from the fasting person reward.” [Ahmad, at-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah, Ibn Hibbaan, Saheeh].”

As we discussed in our earlier post, Islamic Quotes on Charity-Aayahs and hadiths on Sadqah, not only Zakat connotes helping your Muslim brother with his finances, but it also symbolizes the unity of Muslim Ummah.  Meaning, Allah wants the Muslim community to act as One and not set apart from each other. The pain of one believer should be concerning everyone. As Allah mentions in the Surah Al-Imran:

Hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided  (3:103)

DUAS FOR THE LAST TEN DAYS OF RAMADAN

Finally, the significance of Ramadan lies in the odd days of the last ten days in this month, the days called Laylat ul Qadr. Among these odd dates, on one day Holy Quran was revealed. Owing to different traditions that has reached us from the past, Muslims celebrate every odd day of these last ten days.  Etymologically the word Laylat ul Qadr means the Night of Importance. However, Muslim scholars translate in many other ways as well. For instance, this night is called as Night of Decree, Night of Destiny, Night of Forgiveness, Night of Power and so on and so forth.  Allah underpins the value of the Night in Surah AL-Qadr, in the following words.

  1. Undoubtedly, We sent it down in the blessed and valuable night.
  2. And what you know, what the blessed night is?
  3. The blessed and valuable Night is better than a thousand months.
  4. Therein descend angels and Jibril (the Spirit) by the command of their Lord for every affair.
  5. That is all peace till the rising of the dawn.

Muslims all around the world spend these nights in Rukooh and Sujood. They ask for forgiveness for their sins. They ask for Duas, their unfulfilled wishes. They serve Allah with Ibadah and they serve themselves with loads of Duas. Therefore, Duas are an imperative part of this night.
